So while my internet was out, I kept myself busy by writing again. I've been working on a few things that you'll never get to see, but after writing this one I was pretty proud of myself, and since I don't plan on using it in anything I put out there one day (hurr like that'll ever happen), I figured I'd throw it here.

It's part of a bigger story and is really just a bit of side-story to give me an idea of what went down for this character. No big.

Right now there are people out there who are being made to feel inferior because of who they are.

Because of their sex.

Because of their race.

Because of their age.

Because of who they love.

Because of what they do.

Because of who they vote for.

Because of what they give money to.

Because of their social status.

Because of where they live.

Because of their health, both mental and physical.

I declare today and every day International Human Day. It's a day for people to love their fellow man, despite their differences. Today I want you to tell someone, anyone, that you appreciate them. I want you to express love to those around you. I want you to defend those you see oppressed and stepped on. I want you to tell them that they're a superstar, and that the world is lucky to have them.

Just like I'm telling all of you right now.

It doesn't matter if we talk all the time, or even if we get along that well, I believe that you were put on this earth to do amazing things. I believe you have a wonderful purpose just sitting out there waiting for you to grab it with both hands and own it.

Don't ever let anybody tell you that you can't be the best damn person in the whole world, because they're wrong. You're a rock star.

If I seem hesitant to like Silent Hill: Downpour, it's because I am. Playing that game for the first time is probably going to be like going to a dinner with Nicholas Cage to discuss all his good films. You just know that you're not going to have anything nice to say about the whole thing.

I was going over some old spams today for the lulz and found...a lot of lulz. I-It's kind of awesome how I picked up some of you guys. :'D

The good times just keep rolling on, even though I miss screwing around with some of you. LIFE DOES GO ON, but we'll always have our good yesterdays to remember. And I'm so glad we still get to talk, even if it's not as often now~

K8 and I have been meeting pretty epic people through matchmaking on Halo: Reach. The big problem about playing matchmaking on Halo games is that you tend to run into serious, serious morons. It's why I've steered clear of playing on Live for so long. It's generally not worth it. But if you play with a friend, your friendly banter tends to draw in the cool folks.

It leads to hilariousness.

Guy we played with last night: "All right, vote for snipers! Yeah, snipers, awesome. [vote jumps to slayer last minute] WHAT. NO. Ugh, all right, I'm just gonna betray my whole team, hold on."

Guy we played with a few nights ago: "I haven't seen any female Elites yet. I wanna see an Elite with boobs."

This on top of K8's creative commentary almost always has me in stitches. Especially when she's narrating her actions and fails during campaign. It's hard to play when you're laughing so hard.
